BOARD ELECTIONS AND PROCESS
First, We want to thank the individuals that have expressed interest in serving on the Greater Baltimore Church of Christ Board of Directors! We appreciate your heart, and your faith, to be willing to serve the body in this way. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to us, and if you feel you have a gift for administration, this is the role for you.
The Board has established an election committee comprised of: Byron Eaton, Cherie Jenkins, Judy Barragan and chaired by Kris Broom. If you are still interested, please reach out to the Election Committee Members as soon as possible. There are two vacancies that will come open in January 2020.
The election process will go as follows:
The election committee will submit the names of the people that are interested in serving on the Board to CLG by December 15th.
Since this is a leadership role, each prospective candidate will have an opportunity to meet with the church leadership group between December 15th and January 15th.
This process will yield the names of the actual candidates who will appear on the election ballot. These individuals will be given an application to fill out, and will subsequently be presented before the Church as official candidates for the Board of Directors vacancies. The actual election will take place on Wednesday, January 29th at the annual Corporate Meeting.
The committee will distribute, collect and count the ballots at the Corporate meeting on Wednesday, January 29th and present the outcome to the Board, who will then present the newly elected candidates to the Church.
